Rebecca is a passionate sailor, actively competing in the J80 class and previously the J105 class, and has a love for big boat Ocean Racing. Her journey with the Club has been impressive, starting as a member of the International Sailing Events and the Membership Committee before moving to the Board of Governors in 2018. Rebecca served as the Chair of the Nominating Committee until Spring 2023. In April 2023, she joined the Executive Team as Vice Commodore, and on January 1, 2024, she made history as the Club's third female Commodore. As Commodore, Rebecca leads the Club's Executive Team.

Hal spent two years as the Rear Commodore, Docks ending in 2023 and a year as Rear Commodore, Sailing (2024). He is an avid sailor and you can find him out sailing on the J80, Lix, or in many of the other local classes: Etchells, J105s and IODs. In January 2024, Hal moved to the Rear Commodore, Sailing role. In November 2024 he moved into the Vice Commodore role. Hal is an enthusiastic sailor and passionate about supporting & promoting children in sailing. The Vice Commodore chairs the Membership Committee and supports the Commodore.

Jon was Commodore of the Club in 2018 & 2019 having come up through the ranks as RC Sailing and Vice Commodore. He rejoined the Executive Team in January 2021 to take over chairing the International Sailing Events Committee (ISEC). Not surprising, he loves sailing. He's competed in the J24 and J105 classes in Bermuda and has represented the RBYC at the NYYC Invitational Cup and RYS Bicentennial Regatta.

Peter grew up sailing at the Club and has been a member for 16 years. He is an active sailor and currently can most often find him on out on a J80, team racing or PHRF racing. He is a past-skipper of the Club’s Bermuda Fitted Dinghy, Contest III and has raced competitively in a multitude of classes, both locally and overseas. Peter has served on a number of different committees at the Club over the years including the Sailing Committee, Membership Committee, and Nominating Committee. The RC Sailing oversees the domestic sailing programme at the club, which includes Domestic Racing, the Sailing Academy and Contest III.

Galen is an active boater and sailor. He joined the Executive as Rear Commodore, House in 2022, having spent the last few years as a member of the Sailing Committee. Sustainability and Green initiatives are very close to his heart. He chairs the very busy House Committee which overseas everything from archives to infrastructure of the property.

Jeff joined the Executive Team in January 2024 having been a member of the House Committee. Jeff brings his engineering and technical background to oversee the Club's Marina. The RC Docks chairs the Docks Committee and works closely with the Club's Marina Manager to maintain the Club's extensive marina environment including berths, floating docks, hardstand and all the assets that are stored in the marina.

Carol takes on the prestigious role of Honorary Secretary of the RBYC from January 2025. The Honorary Secretary overseas matters of governance of the Club; both internally and externally. Carol has been an active sailor all her life and a Member of the Club for 20 years. She is a valued member of the the Club's Race Management Team and has been a member of the International Sailing Events Committee for several years. Carol is also a past Commodore of the Bermuda Offshore Cruising Association (BOCA).

Mark deals with the fiduciary and financial aspects of the Club. He works very closely with the Club's Controller, Lorraine Bridges and his Finance Committee to ensure both short-term and long-term running of the Club is successful.

Paul joined the Club in October 2024. He has worked at prestigious properties such as Rosewood Tucker's Point, Turtle Hill Golf (Fairmont Southampton) and St. Regis Bermuda. The General Manager overseas the day-to-day running of the RBYC with his management team. He is always happy to listen to recommendations and suggestions from the Membership about their Club.
